VW T5 85HP ECU Remapping in Warrington
I use my T5 as a work van and for some weekend speedway fun. At 85HP I found it very hard work for the van carrying work materials and or 2 motorbikes. I asked Johnny at Protune what could be done and I decided to take his advice and go for an eco-power remap, and to compliment it I also decided to go for an EGR mechanical and software delete plus DPF removal and software delete plus a high flow air fillter. The van now flies, handles all the weight I want to throw in the back, hills are no problems, cruises at 80MPH all day with plenty in reserve and the MPG is amazing Im getting an extra 7MPG. Thanks Guys for carrying out all the work on my van in a very speedy fashion, well worth the money and would recommend to anyone.

I was sceptical about letting someone tune my T4 having owned it from new. After a couple of conversations with both Johnny and Mike at ProTune I decided to take the leap. I went for an eco-power remap and the guys blanked off my EGR and performed a EGR software delete. Why did I wait so long its amazing the power is there all the time no more fumbling for gears on a slight hill and the bonus of nearly 6 extra MPG and it is a full camper conversion. Amazing, truly amazing keep up the good work.

Johnny just did my T5 174. 30MPG on the way to work: 33 on the way home. That's not the whole story though, the power increase is quite surprising - it was invoking the traction control in 3rd gear! In summary, if you want more fun and better fuel consumption from your bus, give him a call. Its good to see an honest bloke doing quality work like this. Cheers Johnny, nice one.

Thanks again to ProTune for the remap and VCDS VAG-COM check, the van is so different and drives more like a car. I went with a eco-power remap giving the best of economy and power, i am getting about 5MPG better and the difference in power is a real pleasure.

I thought my T5 was a bit under powered when loaded or climbing hills, i gave ProTune a call for some advice, Johnny was very helpful and said that a custom remap would be best and provide extra torque to assist with the hills and loads. The engine remapping has been on the van for two weeks and the difference is amazing it takes hills without having to change down and I don't even notice when carrying a load, this combined with the added bonus of about 5 miles extra on my average MPG. I'm having my Land Rover done real soon.

Mk 4 Golf 1.8T 150PS ECU Remapping in Manchester
I was told my car had been remapped before I bought it, I asked ProTune to have a look at it as I thought it was under performing and running hot. After Johnny read and analysed the map that was on the car he found that it was running on compressed air practically and the map was most probably something generic that someone had downloaded off the internet (I was not pleased). Johnny informed me this was not uncommon and that the map will do damage if left on the Golf. A copy of my map was taken, then over night Johnny built up a strong map from stock and loaded it up on to the ECU the next day. One word PHENOMENAL! My 150PS is now 194PS official, have the rolling road print out to prove :). Great service and thanks for the extra efforts

I was a bit sceptical about ECU remapping before speaking to Johnny at ProTune, and after having the process explained and then having it done and running the Golf for 4 weeks I can do nothing but praise the benefits, +30BHP and +60NM of torque combined with my combined fuel consumption going from 37MPG to 44MPG.
